Avoiding Unsupported Inferences — Avoiding Unsupported Inferences

It is easy to draw unsupported inferences about a public figure from a single photograph. However, a photograph primarily captures the photographer's artistic choices, such as subject positioning, camera angle, lighting, and timing.

Because these images are creative expressions rather than objective documentation of a person's life, they should not be used to assume personal details. Verifying the context of these creative choices with qualified professionals is essential before drawing definitive conclusions.
