“Levitating” — Dua Lipa — “Levitating” — Dua Lipa

“Levitating” helped make disco-derived rhythm feel like present-tense radio rather than a costume exercise. Springy bass, clipped guitar, handclap energy and layered vocals keep the arrangement buoyant.

The track's long chart life reflects repeat appeal, while its production shows how revival music works best when period references are edited through contemporary songwriting and mix discipline.
