Edmund Donovan — Max — Edmund Donovan — Max

Donovan portrays Max, a bartender whom Lucy knows outside Baird's immediate social circle and who also appears in the later timeline.

An accomplished stage performer, Donovan won a Drama Desk Award for Greater Clements and has appeared in television and film. His restrained role gives the series a point of comparison with the more enclosed, escalating dynamics on campus.
