Morris Chestnut — Barrett Cain — Morris Chestnut — Barrett Cain

Chestnut joined seasons 3 and 4 as neurosurgeon Barrett Cain, a high-profile physician whose methods challenge Chastain's culture. He was already known for Boyz n the Hood, The Best Man, and Rosewood.

Later television leads included Our Kind of People, Diarra from Detroit, and Watson, continuing a career built across medical, family, and mystery drama.
